Currently, Mr. Oesterle's Music Appreciation classes are learning about music history from Medieval time to the present day. Mr. Oesterle's Band students are preparing music for the upcoming Veterans Day performance on November 12. Mr. Potter’s Advanced Chorus is currently working on (Oh Magnum Mysterium). Students are learning to sing in Latin. They are also preparing for our performance at the Tidewater Inn for the Festival of Trees. General Music Classes are studying music history and will be learning about music from the Middle Ages through the Contemporary Period. Chorus classes have been preparing for our Veterans Day performance.
Physical Education has been extremely busy working hard to improve the strength, endurance, and flexibility of all students. The soccer unit is coming to a close and we will begin variations of football soon. Students are reminded to dress for the weather as we will be going outside as much as possible. For cooler weather students are permitted to wear sweatshirts, hoodies, or long sleeve t's on top of their LMS PE shirt. Students may also bring school appropriate sweatpants to wear instead of the LMS shorts.
